Time & Location

Surrey, 1845 154 St, Surrey, BC V4A 5J8, Canada

About the event

Azaleas are a showy species for bonsai with their beautiful small flowers, muscular trunks and shiny green leaves.  The Japanese Satsuki varieties are a key area of interest for Tim Hall and he will be presenting at the June meeting some helpful tips for working with the species.  He has spent considerable time building a collection of hard-to-find cultivars and doing the development work to transform them into bonsai.  It will be a helpful talk on what can be a very interesting species to specialize in.

We will also be having a raffle at the meeting, so bring a donation for the table and support the club since all proceeds help fund our activities.

What to Bring

Please bring a tree for our show table that looks great this time of year. We will be working on trees, so bring any bonsai you would like to work on.
