BC Bonsai Society Website Submissions Guideline

This site is primarily for the benefit of our members, but we hope that other Bonsai enthusiasts or clubs can also find this site useful. Contact the Webmaster with your submissions. Submissions that meet the following guidelines are welcomed.

What to submit

Events:

• BCBS events

• Events relevant to Bonsai within the Pacific Northwest region.

• Other clubs, organizations, and businesses are invited to submit their events' information. Include a link to your site with all the appropriate details.

Links:

• Forums devoted to Bonsai discussions

• Bonsai clubs and organizations in the Pacific Northwest Region

• Other clubs and organizations on the internet that include information beneficial to our members

• On-line reference material; online how-to information

• Local suppliers that provide tools and materials used in the development and care of Bonsai and related accessories.

• Internet suppliers, the virtual mail order businesses

Tips:

• Those flashes of brilliance that make our collecting Bonsai more successful and enjoyable.

• Provide the reference if it is from a book, a book, a video or a link if it is on-line.

• Should be 100 words or less.

How to submit

• e-mail, un-formatted plain text

• e-mail attachment, text file for text and .jpg files for photos

• un-edited .jpg files

• CD, diskettes, memory sticks - okay, but they can be lost!

• verbally - Webmaster has an unreliable memory! No guarantee, but you can try!

• paper - Webmaster's typing skills are very slow. Might happen under this Webmaster's watch; might not!
